Situação inicial

Portugal is a very singular and special country. Every day people drink unique coffee, our fruit is delicious and its smell enriches every room. Christmas has a special taste with the delicious codfish, with one of the best olive oil in the world and great wine. People and food warm the country with hard-working farmers and cooks that give their best every day to present delicious presents in our table, making Portugal a must regarding gastronomy. Many want to discover the secret to this delicious food and it is simple. It is the result of passionate, cheerful, dedicated and authentic people.

AHRESP wants to help people being able to discover all these wonders and present to them a guide to ensure that they can make the most of their experience.

TASTE Portugal

Solução

AHRESP’s first goal is to present a network of Portuguese restaurants in the world (not only Portugal but also other countries such as France, Spain, Brazil, Germany, and UK). They should also be able to taste the delicious pastry that our country has to offer, as well as the mysterious ways to make wonderful bread.

The second target is to make a gastronomic platform – taste Portugal. This will ease food tasting contest of delicious traditional dishes, such as the cheese from Serra da Estrela, Alheira or our olive oil. The third goal is to draw a catalog of products from each region with gastronomical interest. From this, people will be able to see, for example, that they should try “Pastéis de Belém” if they go to Belem, “ovos moles” if they want to go to Aveiro, “Pão de Ló” if they go to Ovar and find out the best places to try sardine. Moreover, AHRESP wants to provide a space where people can find the fabulous recipes of our products, with illustrations that ease the baking from their own houses.

To structure and implement the Network of Portuguese Restaurants in the World, as our gastronomic ambassadors spread across five continents.

Publicize our participation in international events of reference of tourism and gastronomy and to promote initiatives to support the establishment of the Network of Portuguese Restaurants in the world that will take place in each of the countries.

A catalog of regional products, qualified and/or gastronomic interest.

A set of possible regional recipes to be executed in each of the countries where the Portuguese Restaurant Network will be developed in the world.
